The Meaning of Life

I grew up in the south in 1960. Married when I was 18 and joined the Army when I was 23. I traveled in Germany before returning to the United States where I lived in Connecticut for a while 'and then Tennessee for 10 years. I am now living in Maine.

Of all the trips I made in my life I heard people asking one question constantly. No matter if you are religious or not. We all want to know "What is the meaning of life?" I myself have asked this question a thousand times.

Socrates and Plato, and a thousand other deep thinkers throughout history have sought to define or explain the meaning of life. Each with its perception and understanding and most times a very complicated explanation.

It was not until I took up hiking in the mountains of Tennessee that I had time to reflect the complexity of this age old question. Being a Christian I was raised to believe certain things and look at life in a certain way. But I got older and started studying and searching for myself I began to realize that what I was taught as a child was not as complicated as some would have believed that I had.

I always wondered why God would put it here only to suffer in this life. After all that we love and that I have no doubt. So why then? I studied and meditated and reflected in deep thought, just like many before me, and like them, to no avail.

Then one day while hiking the Appalachian Trail in Tennessee I came to a clearing overlooking a valley. It 'was a clear day with the sun shining bright. As I looked out across the valley I saw an eagle soaring in the wind. And as usual the thought crossed my mind that it would be really nice to be able to fly well. Then I thought, not eagles watching us and want to be like us?

That's when something inside me clicked. It was more like an explosion or an awakening of sorts. The meaning of life was so simple that I had looked right past it thinking that some great discovery of some kind. Any words of wisdom that would make me look like a genius. Instead, three words kept going through my brain. Thundering, as if God Himself was speaking directly to them in my thoughts.

We spend our whole life from the moment we take our first breath until our final is out trying to be something they are not. Whether you are trying to find a job to seem more experienced or trying to win someones heart by becoming the person they are looking for. We act differently in different situations. Why?

E 'in our nature I suppose or at least the type of meat. But the nature of God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. And since we are striving to be more "God-like," I used to think meant trying to be perfect, then the meaning of life is simply to "only you!"

Yes, it's that simple. Be yourself no matter what happens or where you are or who you are or what you are trying to achieve. If you can do this is something that most people will never be. Good, bad or indifferent will be only you.

Toilet Seat Down

In Europe there is an 'anti-scatter' movement, whose aim is to encourage men to sit when urinating, and thus avoid the dispersing effect. Toilet in all countries of the continent have signs urging people to be masters and sit when they thought their business. My brother-in-law, a German lawyer, like many European men, it now sits down when he conducts his business. Because it's always been a thoughtful gentleman.

Ladies, do not get your hopes up because they never happen in America. Men in States are going to continue to stand, and they're going to continue to spread, and you - I am sorry to say - are going to continue to clean up these sprays. Why not do it themselves.

It is certainly a cultural thing, as shown in the above example of my brother-in-law and all those other European men. Part of being a man here in America is that you stand when you urinate, since you're a woman and women, you know, pee sitting down. Indeed there is something intrinsically powerful about pee standing and higher you are the stronger you feel. In fact, nothing seems more powerful than piss off a roof ... um, I'm told.

In the war of the toilet seat covers, I finally decided that both should be toilet lids down when the toilet is not in use. Wait out here, guys. I am not betraying my gender - a lot. There are good reasons to get the covers down, and none of them have to do with being tortured to death if they do not.

Number One: You do not want the dog to drink out of the toilet bowl. Do not have a dog? You could get one and it is good practice for you in the meantime to get used to it. Or you could have a friend with a dog you visit without notice, and if you want to be prepared for that. By the way, if you have a really big dog, goes down with both eyes a brick above them. They are fresh water, a perfect location for their drinking, irresistible - especially when their lazy master forgot to fill their water bowl.

Number Two: You can accidentally drop things in an open cabinet. Do you like fishing your toothbrush out of the bathroom? Or for that matter, do you like fishing something out of it all?

Thought not.

Number Three: It 's bad Feng Shui. Okay. I am a bit 'out of my element on this, but as I understand, Chi energy or life force flows naturally to the water just do not want all your Chi energy goes to the bathroom. And 'bad, believe me. To counter this you need a plant that grows on the back of your toilet (takes up the life force), or you need a bowl of rice. My choice was the plan, because if you have a bowl of rice on your crapper people think of eating rice in the bathroom, and this is kind of hard to explain.

Number Four: Maybe it's just me, but I always found an open bowl type of cologne to look scary. Alligators or Norway rats could jump out at any time. And the water itself leads directly to the dark depths of the underworld and I'd just rather see it covered and not think about this.

Number Five: It is a noble thing to do for a woman, you know how to hold a door for her, or pulling a chair for her in a restaurant, or help you get your coat, or other things so polite. I do not want to be kind? End. I just gave you four perfectly sound reasons why you should do anyway.

If you happen to be a man who lives alone and has no friends or visitors and no dogs or plans to get one of these ... Well, I'm sorry for you. None of the above apply to you. But in this case, you should really have a dog, because, man, you really need a little company. Just make sure you get a small dog who can not get in the lead then to open your cabinet.

Chinese Astrology

There are twelve Chinese year signs in the Chinese zodiac. Unlike our western astrology, in Chinese astrology each sign lasts for a year. Legend has it that as Buddha was about to leave the land he called all the animals to say goodbye. Only twelve up so, to show his appreciation for their loyalty, he vowed that from then on each year would bear the name of an animal.

Chinese astrology is based on the lunar calendar. This means the Chinese New Year does not fall on the same day each year and can vary up to 3 weeks. So for babies born in late January / early February it is necessary to consult the tables to determine the correct sign.

You will find a table with dates and directions below. Each sign repeats every 12 years, so 2006 / 7 is the year of the Dog. For exact dates visit our website. After the table are the characteristics of people born during the Chinese Year of the Rooster.

February 9, 2005 - January 28, 2006: Gall
22 January 2004 - February 8, 2005: Monkey
February 1, 2003 - January 21, 2004: Goat
February 12, 2002 - January 31, 2003: Horse
January 24, 2001 - February 11, 2002: Snake
February 5, 2000 - January 23, 2001: Dragon
February 6, 1999 - 4 February 2000: Rabbit

If they can control their impulsive streak they are usually successful in business. Intelligent and ambitious, Roosters hard work and I like having control, often successfully running their own businesses.

People born under this sign are extroverts and enjoy the company of others. They do not like to be criticized and their self-esteem can crumble if they are ridiculed.

Roosters hate to be bored and can be deliberately provocative if life is too boring.

Other signs or love or hate Roosters. Fortunately for the Rooster, most people love them.

There's Something About Einstein

Albert Einstein

1. There's Something About Einstein
2. Einstein's Brain
3. Brainwashing
4. Driving Mr. Albert
5. IQ
6. E = MC2 To The X-Files
7. Albert Einstein Institution
8. Young Einstein

1. There's Something About Einstein

Bobby and Peter Farrelly, the brother writing-directing duo responsible for the comedy hits, "There's Something About Mary" and "Dumb and Dumber" are fans of mad genius like everyone else. To amaze the crowds, Bobby Farrelly has taught his son to three years, a few tricks to show off his genius future. He taught 10 responses to some questions very advanced for a tot of his time, one of which is: "Who came up with the theory of E = MC2?" Playing the crowd with the contemplation of her face, her toes down his son with his shoe, and finally, and timely responses, "Albert Einstein". Now that is genius.

2. Einstein's Brain

For if a man named Thomas Harvey performed the autopsy on Einstein in 1955, shortly after the genie disappeared. He was not planning to do so, the boy was, was not able to do so. So, Mr. Harvey, but I have the honor of Albert handle matters most private, including its gray matter invaluable. Without permission to do so, even if Thomas attests being given the nod of ok from a relative of Einstein, Mr. Harvey pulled a modern day Robin Hood and ripped the brains of the scientist. For decades he kept in a secret place, spend parts of it to researchers worldwide. Mr. Harvey's good intentions, he wanted to do research on brain develop themselves and published their results, but the end is never that endeavor came to fruition.

3. Brainwashing

The brain had seen better days, transformed from the greatest mind of the modern pieces of chicken color float in a stinking, yellow, formaldehyde broth, diced into several pieces and put in Tupperware. A large part of the time, the brain was hidden in a tin of biscuits at the home of Mr. Harvey's girlfriend. Then one day, ready to make amends with the Einstein family, Mr. Harvey has decided to return the brain to long-lost nephew of Einstein, San Francisco Evelyn.

4. Driving Mr. Albert

Enter Paterniti journalist from Portland, Maine. After writing an article about Mr. Harvey and the brain missing, Paterniti friendship with Harvey grew to the point that he was willing to drive Harvey and the brain from New Jersey to California, after all, is not the destination but the journey counts. The unlikely threesome - a freelance writer, a senior pathologist, and Albert Einstein sans life and arts - America through a loan Buick Skylark. Stopping here and there, visiting old friends of the two living members of the convoy. From a house of adobe ranch south of Santa Fe, New Mexico to stay with old friends Paterniti deviation of exotic travel, to see William S. s Burroughs' in Lawrence, Kansas. As it turned out, Mr. Harvey and Mr. Burroughs knew each other and so, Einstein's brain was having dinner with the author of "Naked Lunch".

5. IQ

The genius of Einstein was not alone in his scientific theories, but in his extreme desire for self-promotion. Much of his early fame can be attributed to the fact that he went on a world tour to promote his discoveries vortex, lunch with the rich and powerful and famous worldwide. Getting securities worldwide and firmly establishing the scientist as a superstar. Today, scientists like Brian Greene and Michio Kaku can only dream of such fanfare surrounding their pioneering work in the pursuit of elusive Unifying theory that Einstein himself spent his last days to contemplate, to no avail.

6. E = MC2 To The X-Files

Many actors have portrayed the shaggy-haired genius on the big screen. In particular it was the turn of Walter Matthau witty as the mad scientist in the 1994 romantic comedy "IQ". Australian actor, Yahoo Serious has taken a stab at the madcap farce, "Young Einstein" in 1988. Even Robert Downey Jr. has represented in the 1990 movie, "This is appropriate." We here at T-Shirt King voted and enjoy seeing David Duchovny portray Mr. Einstein during his earlier years. Go figure.

7. Albert Einstein Institution

Having developed a method that led to the creation of the world's most destructive weapons, the Albert Einstein Institution have been striving for new ways of resolving violent conflicts, as Mr. Einstein himself tried to do when he was alive. The institution is committed to defending democratic freedoms and institutions - opposing oppression, dictatorship and genocide - reducing reliance on violence as a policy instrument. For our own good, too bad Mr. Einstein is still around in those days.

8. Young Einstein

Einstein's popularity is legendary, it is hard to find anyone on the planet who had not heard of him. His name is equated with genius. Despite his incredible feats later in his life, the young Einstein did not just so good in the eyes of those around him. It was a horrible student, which he attributes to boredom, his teachers attribute this to an abrasive ego. His parents had concerns for him, because he could not speak fluently until his ninth birthday, bringing her parents to suspect that he is mentally. Yeesha, what a genius to do?

Halloween Came From Where?

5. Hallow's Eve
6. Biting the apple

. HAPPY HALLOWEEN 1

Pillar Of all the holidays that populate our year, Halloween is one of the oldest, dating back thousands of years. Thanksgiving, July 4th, Easter and Christmas are also young in comparison.

Follow me and I'll take you on a path that follows through the ages to the costume and candy night walk that we celebrate today.

2. SUMMER'S END

Originally started as a Celtic festival, Druidic priests regarded the day as the end of the year and a feast for the crop year. October 31 was the first day of a three-day festival called Samhain, meaning "late summer". It marked the passage of the sun on the season the season of darkness, but was also a celebration to honor the dead. The Celts believed that the laws of space and time were suspended on this night, allowing the spirit world of crossover and intermingle with the living world.

3. SPOOKY

According to legend, the disembodied spirits of all those who had disappeared during the preceding year would come back that night in search of living bodies to possess for the following year. Apparently, it was their only hope for an afterlife. To protect themselves, the Celtic priests developed spells, incantations and rituals burning sacrifices to appease wandering spirits that roamed the night.

4. The shoulder COLD

Of course, certainly would not be alive to get possessed, so on the night of Oct. 31, people would have extinguished the fires in their fireplaces and furnaces, to make their homes cold and undesirable to the wandering spirits. To complete the ritual, they would then dress in ghoulish costumes, parading around the neighborhoods causing Ruckus and destruction in order to scare away spirits looking for a warm body to inhabit.

5. Hallow's Eve

The word Halloween is a mix. Samhain (pronounced sow-en, the sow rhymes with cow, that "it" is an important part to remember) was combined with the Catholic feast of the November 1 "All Hallows Eve, otherwise known as All Hallows Day" or "All Saints Day." The old English word "Hallow," meant to sanctify. It was the day to honor the Catholic saints. By the 7th century AD it was adapted as "All Soul's Day" to honor all the dead and not just the saints. Over time, these two celebrations were combined into one mega-fest by the growing populations of Europe. And abracadabra sow-en and Hallows Eve merged creating Halloween. Ireland is sometimes referred to as Hallow e'en, and more magic, Halloween, further emphasizing the marriage of terms and holidays.

6. Biting the apple

At the end of the traditional Roman festival on November 1 in honor of Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit and trees, was absorbed into the Halloween punch bowl. Bringing its own traits with it symbol Pomona was an apple, which probably inspired the party activity bobbing for apples.

7. ... TRICK

Halloween came to America with early Irish and Scottish immigrants. The belief in spirit possession was lowered compared to the first day and the act of dressing up like vampires, goblins, ghosts and witches was more like fun ceremony today.

However, anarchy has remained since the early Celtic days. Favorite tricks of the time were overturning outhouses, especially with someone inside and unhinging fence gates, freeing up farm animals and the like.

8. ... Or Treat
The treat part of trick-or-treat originated from a 9th century custom called "souling. The "All Souls Day, early Christians would walk door to door asking for" soul cakes ", little squares of bread with currants (yummy). You see, when it was believed that the souls of the dead remained in limbo on earth and that prayers would speed the passage of the soul to heaven. The more soul cakes the beggars would receive, the more prayers they would promise to say on behalf of deceased relatives of donors.

9. Jack O 'Lantern

An Irish folklore tells the story of a lazy trickster named Jack. Throughout his life he never made a single enemy, nor a single friend, never made an honest day's work or performed a single selfless act for anyone. But despite his laziness and constant state of intoxication, he managed to foil an attempt by the Devil to take his soul.

the number one Halloween Jack was high and the Devil arrived to do its share. Jake was obviously having a pint in the pub and asked the Devil for permission to finish his beer. The Devil agreed and Jack struck up a conversation. He asked: "If you really have power, you could turn into something, right? Even a shilling." The Devil took it as challenge and became a silver coin. Jack grabbed the coin and scratched a cross-shaped scar on his face. The power of the cross, being like kryptonite to Superman, rendered powerless the Devil, and held him prisoner.

Jacks bartered with Satan, he would free him if you would grant another year of life of Jack so that he would have had time to repent. Having little choice, the Devil made it so. A year passed, Jack is Jack, has never managed to get off the bar stool to repent.

Again it is Halloween, but Satan was a no show. Suddenly Jack knew why, Presto-change-o, Jack was dead and standing before the pearly gates. He was about to go to heaven. Ah, but before he had access to get the OK from St. Peter. Check his records, St. Peter Jack thumbs down, boo-hoo, for Jack had never performed a single selfless act. Off to hell Jack would go.

However, Satan was not doing any of this either. It was still checked to get cheated. Having nowhere to go, the Devil gave Jack a burning ember in a hollowed turnip. With only this simple lantern to light his way, rejected by heaven and hell, poor Jack was doomed to wander forever in darkness.

The Irish originally used turnips as their "Jack's lanterns". But in America, pumpkins were easier to come by than turnips. Pumpkins also pulled double duty, symbolizing the giant full moon collection. Thus, man-in-the-moon and trickster Jack combine to form the carved face pumpkins of our Jack O Lantern '.

10. The Great Pumpkin

We have demons and goblins, WHO and whistles of why Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year! Jokes and candy to all of you this Hallow's Eve!

After Halloween what is a holiday destination with a vampire?
Fangsgiving!

The history of arms

The date and method of the origin of coats of arms, often called family crests, it was a matter of speculation. There is no evidence of arms being present at the Battle of Hastings in 1066, nor were crests apparent by the beginning of the twelfth century. However, in the 13th century, coats of arms were used throughout Europe and throughout''the science of heraldry - its rules and terms - had been established. During this time of the Crusades undoubtedly helped to spread the use of arms.

Various suggestions were made about the origin of coats of arms, for example, shields, banners, tabards and possibly the use of seals. Probably once a project had been changed, was the subject of many personal items at the same time. To qualify as an emblem, a project must be represented on a shield, but the name coat 'of arms' comes from the chest of linen, which was worn over the armor, on which the project was shown.

It 'been in battle that the need for arms arose. In times of war was the nobility, the landowners, who have been called to leadership, and each landowner would have controlled his small group of illiterate men in battle. With the armature closed helmet in battle would be difficult to identify the man inside, then the coat of arms badge or coat of arms depicted on a shield and embroidered vest became essential, the latter giving rise the word 'coat of arms'.

Armorial devices were the prerogative of the upper class. In the early days, even the earth could not pass from person to person without the permission of the king and the king was also involved in the granting of armorial bearings. However, soon other families in what we call the bourgeoisie began showing their coats over their weapons, even if 'messengers' and other government officials have tried in vain to keep the use of arms restricted to a privileged few. Today many homes display the family crest shields, the shields are smaller than those used to hang in baronial halls - but so are modern houses!

Unidentified (UFOs) and identified Flying Objects

The idea of UFOs flying down and saving humanity from injustice and woe is the popular image of recent decades. Let's identify the UFO trend, popular Christian images, the Mayan calendar with its 2012 forecasts, and a reality of photons flying from clearly identified astrophysical objects.

Fifty years ago UFOs captured the attention of people looking at the sky. Once you begin the reporting and the government investigated, more UFOs appeared. It 's like watching recently popularized crop circles. Simple circular forms started around Stonehedge. Lights to collect more than a wheat field and quickly draw circular patterns. Who has more knowledge and articulate their awareness of these phenomena, the more the number and complexity. focus human energy to generate the complexity of life on the manifest.

Many people today tap UFO hopes and dreams. Why do people share memories of spaceships (collected from numerous popularized by the film ET in Star Wars), I believe that people have real experiences. The small body, big head and enormous eyes foreign motifs accumulate in imagination. Individuals also get transported to spaceships, sensational reporting experience. Even without any physical evidence, books, movies, and sightings of lights perpetuate belief in UFOs.

Modern UFO phenomena appear very similar to the Christian hope of imminent return of Jesus'. For nearly 2000 years, Christian groups wait to identify Jesus returns to earth to rule over a millennium 1,000 years of peace. "Look, it's coming on the clouds" (Revelation 1:7). Jesus would probably return similar to his ascension into heaven (Luke 24:51). Note that the movement "Seventh-day Adventist was initiated after Jesus has not returned in 1843.

The classic Mayan Indian empire is based on a complicated calendar to predict the height of the Earth and the potential of re-creation. " Major classical Mayan cities extend from Palenque in Mexico, Tikal in Guatemala and Copan in Honduras. They mysteriously "fell" around 800AD possible when their calendrical cycle achieved 10.0.0.0.0. Their peak primary processing is established in 13 Baktuns, 13.0.0.0.0. Some expected for 2002. Nothing happened. Now 2012 is the year, ie if 3114 BC is considered the starting date of their cyclical 0.0.0.0.0.

Human consciousness shares hopes for global peace and harmony. world religions express this climax of history. Jews await the Messiah, Christians the return of Jesus, their Messiah. Hindus believe Kalki (the final incarnation of Vishnu) will restore the divine order. Buddhists pray, meditate, and prayer flags after calling Maitreya, the final incarnation of the Buddha. Several Muslims, especially Shia Muslims believe that a perfect teacher (who represented Muhammad) is to establish justice.

With the rampant suffering and injustice, humanity awaits a great culminating event. This is true. Now, what can we learn from scientific data "identified flying objects."

The data science actually supplies us with a powerful "identifiable" energies. Maybe we can realize the reality of extraterrestrial identifiable sources, leverage the power of these flying photons (light), and help create the reality of a great, glorious future for humanity. Earth is a powerful magnet that draws light from many sources. The most powerful high-energy gamma rays and X-rays result from Vela Pulsar. Scientists estimate that its a supernova explosion occurred about 10,000 years ago. Sailing is about 1000 light years away. About 1000 years ago (1054AD), the Crab supernova was temporarily a star almost the size of the moon. powerful radio waves from Vela and Crab pulsar, where we are now.

There is evidence that the stars can align the great pyramids in Egypt. Our connection with the stars and the divine celestial sphere is as old as civilization. Carved into the walls pyramid of Unas (2375-2345 BC) is probably the oldest known religious liturgy. Sirius, our brightest star, was called "Sothis". Recognize most of the constellation Ursa Major as the "Big Dipper". Here is the part of the utterance 302 (Piankoff, 1968 with the brackets of the translator).

"Sothis lives (ie, shines) because Unas who is indeed life (star), the son of Sothis. ... Sothis has let Unas fly to heaven among his brethren, the gods. Enneads They were purified for him as the constellation Ursa Major, which can not perish .... There is no word against Unas on earth among men. There is no crime of Unas in the sky among the gods. Unas has done away with word against him, aside, rising into the sky. The Opener of Roads has left Unas fly to heaven among his brethren, the gods. "

Astrophysical identify powerful light from space. Let's plug in real energy link for us now. If we focus on these energies and make them real in our consciousness - no matter what our religious or philosophical point of view - then we can ground these energies.

To complete this article, I wonder why aliens need spaceships. Materialism is our great goal? Our physical body to live a finite amount of time. Primarily we are here to experience family relationships and the central spine in life: real energy from water, plants, animals, minerals, humans, and lightweight (only, star shapes and the light reflected from the moon and planets). 10% of our mind that we use now is just connect the experience and the flow of energy. In the 'afterlife', we can potentially access the rest of the mind, put the 'dream' of life in a stream aesthetic ideal, and refine the energies in the fabric of time and space. (Yes, this sentence is a mouthful.) Currently , go to ground 'aliens' from the sky energies, our celestial connections. Earth can flourish. We can share the joy of peace.

We all live on Earth. The synergy of individual and group human power to generate climate peace and prosperity. All spiritual paths can be strengthened by access to power "Identified Flying Objects." The sun emits a clear high-energy, visible light and radio waves. powerful sources from the sky (stars and star forms) are real. Let's plug in, embody the real energy and transfer this power within our religious and spiritual practices.

Real wood touch presents information on the origins of Touch Wood

Touchwood has its origins in every culture in the world. The tree of life is usually in the middle of a garden like Eden Christianity. There are many examples of a tree to be the mother of creation. There is also some speculation that "touch wood" refers to the cross that Jesus was crucified. As he was lucky to get in touch with this item.

Every culture in the world points to a tree as the central theme of their history. Many cultures believe that a tree does not just protect against weather also gives food to help sustain life.

family trees are often constructed, showing the growth of the tree, how to build more and more towards the first person in line. The branches of the common herd. This is by luck that we talk as a family tree has a deeper meaning subconscious not only a beautiful image.

In ancient times maps of the stars, where limited to marine governance. This was designed to prevent the passage of travel from the most common. Pictures of apple trees where the use to illustrate the most common stars and allow to navigate the oceans. The tree of life takes on new meaning in this case.

humankind is told to get off the braid. Children playing in tree houses and there is really nothing more satisfying than sitting under a big tree, the branches and leaves of ungulates in a light breeze. Yes, trees are the substance that created a whole history of his association with Touchwood and our social unconscious.

Apparently people Touchwood bring luck? It is said to ward off evil and allow energy to enter the good ones life. I know that would not have survived bus accident that if I had my Touchwood on me.

Chinese New Year of Monkey

There are twelve Chinese year signs in the Chinese zodiac. Unlike our western astrology, in Chinese astrology each sign lasts for a year. Legend has it that as Buddha was about to leave the land summoned all animals to say goodbye.

Each sign repeats every 12 years, so 2006 / 7 will be the year of the Dog.

January 31, 1995 - February 18, 1996: Pig
February 10, 1994 - January 30, 1995: Dog

People born under the sign of the Monkey Chinese are very fun to attend. Inflatable monkeys are people, fewer young people, born entertainers, loving pranks and riddles. Happier when they have an audience, they love social gatherings that are light. Others forgive their tendency to show why they are so fun to have around.

People born under this sign are intelligent and quick thinkers. However, this could lead to impatience with others and boredom.

Monkeys attract many friends because they are funny and witty. However, they are not particularly loyal and reliable. Various interests are now so busy that they often ignore others. They are not intended to be offensive, it's just that their enthusiasm gets the better of them.
Monkeys are more suitable for flexible, fast-moving careers to satisfy their need for change. Few Monkeys living in the same career for life.

Milestone Birthday Ideas, a Roast

Milestone Birthdays can be great fun. One idea to celebrate a milestone is a roast. One of my favorite themes for a birthday roast is a memorial.

The first thing I want to do is send out invitations to birthday formatted like an obituary. A picture of white cheese and black a younger version of the late adds a touch of legitimacy to the document. If you or one of your cronies have a flair for creative writing can be a very warm and funny tribute, as well as souvenir for all participants.

The path for the roast or memorial should be as simple as possible and decorated as such. Be sure to welcome guests in your with your most solemn and sober demeanor.

Just before the festivities begin are your Pall bearers carry the cake off. Make it as realistic as possible and give carriers blanket the honor of having a place of honor once the cake is brought in and placed in an appropriate manner.

Roasters are your praise and your obituary will set the tone for what turn they take. If you want to be the guest of honor a great success of what you want to set it down in the obituary, if you want to be a depraved soul that will be hard to find something nice to say, then this is something you want to include .

Freedom and poetic license should be on the agenda. The way the honoree met his untimely death should go well with his interests or something somewhat unique to them. Most of us remember the Mary Tyler Moore episode where Chuckles the clown was killed by an elephant "rogue" while dressed as a peanut. What could you ask for humor or irony?

Another idea is to use cap guns for a salvo of 21 guns. This could be used if the honoree met his end in some form of "heroism". Friends and family of people could be forged from his fictional biography.

Also be sure to distribute black armbands at the door if people did not have enough foresight to bring them. Black crepe paper is a good inexpensive way to provide these. Black party hats with veils made of black tights or some other translucent material can also be made.

A milestone birthday roast disguised as a memorial can and should be great fun. You'll enjoy planning and production, and if done well, will be a birthday party that people will talk about for years to come.

Overcome fear of speaking foreign languages

Many people hesitate to try to speak a foreign language. This could be because they want to feel foolish, are worried about how the sound, they are afraid of sounding silly and so on. Therefore remain decidedly mono-lingual during a trip abroad, preferring to speak loudly in Italian. These are the same people who are intelligent, articulate and never lost for words when speaking in English. The same people who are achievers in other areas of life.

But why? May be because many people learn (or never start) languages in which they leave school and when traveling abroad have only haunting memories of having to learn lists of words or verbs. Yuk. Could also be because many foreign language courses are detailed, very promising and require a long time. However, we come to the point. Who has the time or inclination to spend months learning Spanish / French / German or any other language when planning a three day visit?

Well, maybe things have gone, or perhaps not as regards language learning, while still at school. I do not know, but I know that is fun and can learn some basic language when traveling.

On the basis, I mean basic. How to start? Learn some key word. For example, 'hello' 'goodbye', 'please', 'thankyou'. These are words you hear all the time and can use all the time. To find them and tell them as often as possible. This is a great confidence booster to do this, and once you can do that you have cleared the first hurdle.

I am suggesting that it always pays to learn these words, because there will almost certainly be a better holiday. Try. Taxi drivers and waiters are great and almost always respond positively. When you try to speak another language you stop being a number to them and become a human being.

Almost always receive a positive reaction. In some cases, especially with merchants, it takes more time (a few days) but most will crack eventually and reward you with a recognition that not just another tourist.

So here we are, now you can speak a dozen words fluently. A good start, but perhaps it could be fun to learn some more and as well as on some numbers. Start with 'a', 'two', 'three'. Remember that the goal is not smooth, you start or finish obsessed (like having to count to ten), but have some 'fun and communicate.

Anyone who buys drinks on holiday. This is the perfect opportunity to use the numbers that you know. No matter if you ask for drinks in English. The important thing is to use the opportunity to ask the number of drinks in a foreign language, or to confirm the number of drinks ordered.

Feeling inspired to move on some phrases. A good is 'that was delicious', asssuming, of course, you choose a good restaurant, and it is amazing how the owners will be surprised and appreciation.

Decide in advance what you are going to say. If you are getting a bus or if you intend to take a taxi to learn 'a business' or what will be necessary, but keep it simple.

Start with the simple phrase you can imagine. A common mistake is to make sentences in a foreign language more complicated than necessary. For example, instead of saying 'could you tell me where the beach is?', Is easier to say 'where is the beach?'. In other words, skip non-essential.

So do not be shy, learn ten, twenty or thirty words and some phrases and make sure you use them.

Indian astrology is the ancient wisdom found in Atharva Veda 3000 BC back. Indian astrology is based on the relative positions of stars and planets at birth. Mainly the nine planets are assumed to influence the life of a person. This is the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupitor, Saturn and two shadow planets Rahu and Katu. Shadow Astrology Signs

Each Sun sign in astrology, also has its dark side, which is why the first thing I do when I fall in love is grab that person's date of birth! I want to know as a person who is going to treat me after the first bloom of love has worn off the rose. Many of us are familiar with the personality traits of each sign is positive, ie-eg Leo are warm, funny, affectionate, Geminis are ambitious, witty, charming and intelligent, but few of us are aware of the dark side of each sign. Only here, in the psychic realm, we learn the truth about your beloved's personality and what is the absolute worst that can happen ... so be careful because ...

ARIES will tell you what an arrogant loves you, but in the same breath, it should be discarded, because you are getting in the way of his plans for total world domination. It will also leave dirty socks around and burn the toast.

A totalitarian TAURUS pride and boast and bully into submission, but only a little words of sarcasm from you and you'll find it crumpled in a fetal position crying in the wardrobe. Even a bull can not have sex without choosing a first fight.

A GEMINI chat will steal money from you and then help to find him. He will also wild stories about your alleged bisexuality and tell them of his friends. A master of miscommunication, he'll keep at home alone, the telephone, waiting for his call.

Insensitive cancer will give you a gift and then make you pay for it, not with money but with sexual favors, emotional blackmail and pieces of your soul. A kidnapper of experts, using a tumor self-pity and sarcasm to torture his victims and rap in a prison of low self-esttem.

A LAZY LEO will do everything to woo you ... date you, charm you, move in with you, impregnate and spend Christmas dinner with family, but while filling out a job application, even the box that says his status is "single".

VIRGO a vengeful turn your nose to your taste and then slowly begin to mold you into his vision of the perfect woman. You never like him, but if you try to leave, you stalk through the rest of your life trying to return.

A lewd book is the first to say "I love you but I'm not in love with you." You could also pee on my leg and then say it's raining ... As soon as you get the sense he / she are keeping their options open in case someone better comes along ...

An intriguing SCORPIO is voted most likely to try to convince you to have sex without a condom. Later in this report, will also try to convince you that the three-way sex with a prostitute hired is the only way to save your relationship.

Sagittarius A SILLY chase you and woo you until you has pierced with his arrow of love. You'll soon realize your just another coat on the belt this hunter, after he tells all about his plans for his next romantic conquest, shortly after having sex with you.

A CAPRICORN CAPITALISTIC will coldly pretend he loves you, while they are useful to him in terms of social or business relations. This social climber, does not want a girlfriend who wants a parrot rather than the mind of his repeating faithfully what he says ...

An Aquarium ASSININE will go on for hours and hours on the deep connection as soulmates then forget your birthday. Easily distracted by pretty colors and shiny things, this flighty male is easily distracted by other women.

A PIOUS PISCES can only be described as "without Christ, Satan within." This long suffering martyr has a PhD in co-dependency and knows how to reel in women with shiny promises. However, once you take the bait, you are trapped forever in the belly of the beast.

Impractical Magic

Witchcraft is a messy, expensive, time consuming and inefficient way to achieve your goals. I know because I tried ...

For example, I once tried to increase my wealth by applying the principles of Feng Shui. So, I bought a $ 40.00 book that instructed me to enhance my "prosperity", putting chimes on the porch, an aquarium full of gold fish in the hallways and in front of a statue of a Buddha at the front door gay . Before I knew my phone was ringing off with people calling to reserve "a table for four at seven." Unfortunately, what I was writing gigs!

I also tried "clearing" my space, the Native American Indian Way by a "stain". This means that around your house in a circle counter-essay with a flaming bundle of North American herbs. Well, I must of done something wrong, as you may accidentally delete the good vibes that were already in my house, because before I knew it, a bunch of bad energy invaded my space - an angry landlord, neighbors and members of the brigade Fire all asking to know what the smell was strange because I kept setting off the fire alarm. It did not help that I was doing this ritual "sky dress" which is witch-talk for buck-naked.

Most of the magic of the application that you create a talisman or magical object of some kind and take it with you at all times. Obviously, any time, any book I ever read about witchcraft, not tell you what to do when you lose the talisman and the talisman is usually something really small and complicated as "a chestnut that was filled with mercury and the hole was sealed with red wax. "You lose something like that is all your luck and you really do spend a couple of weeks wondering what will happen next. You get so anxious that your subconscious manifests the worst, though.

Also there is nothing more embarrassing than having a sort of talisman love, like a potato carved in the likeness of your lover and stuck with pins, fall from your bag in front of him and have to explain that. Also, many spells that found in self-help books witch craft on the market such as those by Scott Cunningham, Anna Riva and the sorceress Supermarket often asks you to create a really disgusting, like a melon filled with raw liver or orange attacked needles and cloves and hide at home for a complete cycle of the moon. No wonder houses often smell witches - who have got all this rotting food around the house.

Of course, the main reason for witchcraft is so impractical is that people tend to ignore the 3x3x3 rule: everything you want on another return to you three times. This obviously does not jive with human nature and do not know a single witch, who not only once, they want something bad about someone else, and thought "It 's OK Whatever will I get back."

The next thing you know you're spending all your free time, trying to reverse and correct the curses that you sent to others that have rebounded on you three. Not too practical! Just like in that movie Practical Magic where the character of Nicole Kidman shows a lover and ends with a rapist. If witchcraft could be practiced with a certain Zen detachment rather than a desire to control, I believe that religion would probably be perfect. Meanwhile, watch out for dangerous amateur magicians.

Finally, the queen of my domain!

Perhaps the most important realm in Thai mythology, Himapan Forest is the invisible woodland believed to exist in the Himalayas on the border between India and Nepal, just below the equally legendary Buddhist heaven. * GARUDA: copyright law and the supremacy *
Half human and half bird, Garuda has the torso and arms of a man and the head, wings, tail and legs of an eagle. 'Thorrablot': An Icelandic Winter Food Festival

Festivals and fairs are among the most important aspects of Icelandic culture. They reflect not only the nature of Iceland, but also of its people. Icelanders await and prepare for these lavish celebrations with reverence and anticipation.

A centuries-old tradition
=============
In Iceland, as in any other country, a combination of nature, folklore, religious beliefs, economic factors, history and influences every celebration. However, it is the tenacious adherence to their ancient customs of Iceland, Iceland dating back to pre-Christian pagan history featuring their best festivals like 'Þorrablot' (Thorrablot).

A feast of Viking Traditional Food
=====================
One of the most anticipated events is Icelandic Þorrablot, 'The blessing of Thorr', which begins on the first day of Thorr, the fourth month of the Icelandic winter. In the standard calendar, it always begins on Friday between 19 and 25 January and ends on Saturday between 18 and 24 February. The climax of this festival is an annual month-long consumption of traditional food Viking. These delicacies include 'SVID' (head of boiled sheep's), 'hákarl' (putrefied shark meat Greenland), 'Skyr' (yogurt made with 'rennet' [an solids from the stomach lining mammalian ungulates such as cattle , sheep and goats]), 'flatkokur' (flat, thin rye bread eaten with butter), 'hardfiskur' (dried fish, eaten with butter), 'lifrarpylsa' (pudding made of lamb's liver), and 'Brennivin '(an alcoholic distillate from potatoes and flavored with cumin seeds grass).

The diet and food habits of the Icelandic people, like those of many other nationalities, have largely changed over time, no surprise to see that many Icelanders eat foods prepared the old way only during festivals.

In short
---------------
'Viking' is a sea of a Scandinavian people who raided the coasts of northern and western from the eighth through the tenth century.

Tracing the origin
============
Many historians say that the Icelandic earliest reference to existing Þorrablot word can be found in the late fourteenth-century collection of ancient Icelandic manuscript 'Flateyjarbók,' (the book Flatey). According to the book, some Thorr King held a festival that offers every winter late to ask the gods to save her kingdom from the rigors of freezing season. So many people believe that the fourth month the Icelandic winter, 'Thorr' (Thorr)-when the season is at its mildest, it was named after the king said, who started the festival in the first place. Through time, Icelanders came to regard the king as a god Icelandic winter. For other people, however, Þorrablot means' festival Thor'-old festival originally celebrated at a later date in Iceland in honor of pagan Norse god Thor.

===================
Celebrate in the modern
===================
Whatever its true origin, Þorrablot to this day remains a standard part of the Icelandic social calendar, and was also adopted by many neighboring countries such as Denmark, Greenland, Norway and Sweden.

As celebrations take place in winter, most of the food served are kept somewhat dried, pickled in whey, putrefied, salted or smoked. And in the midst of this avalanche of food are children playing traditional games, dancing, singing old songs Icelandic, and drink a lot (especially that 'Brennivin' and other alcoholic beverages in the winter, ideal for warming the body and shaking the spirits) .

'Paglilih': A Philippine Cultural Myth

Perhaps you have heard of a child born with "crab hands" instead of having five fingers, his arms end in two thick appendages that look like the claws of a crab. In the Philippines, many people probably would blame this on 'paglilihí'.

According to a longstanding belief on Philippine 'paglilihí,' when the will or desire of a mother during early pregnancy were not met, the conditions of her unborn child would be adversely affected, and worse, what he wished for and eagerly eaten during the his 'paglilihí' would influence the physical characteristics of the child. People who believe in these cases would certainly argue that the child's mother "crab" when he had feasted on crabs at the stage of 'paglilihí'. In fact, the Philippines, claims as "'pinaglihi knows palak, luya knows dwende know ...'" [designed frog, ginger, dwarf ...], or" loob' sa sama ng '[to ill feelings] are very common. However, thanks to advances in medical science for the many myths about 'paglilihí' are gradually dispelled.

Medical science now offers us a better understanding of the term 'paglilihí', which refers to the period from conception through the first trimester of pregnancy. At this stage, experiences pregnant hormonal changes affecting their bodily functions. The desire, hypersensitivity of taste and smell, nausea, morning sickness and mood swings are common symptoms of the changes. Some psychologists also argue that the hormonal fluctuations of pregnancy can make a woman more emotional, you can begin to feel neglected. Because the stomach begins to relax, may feel fat and unattractive. To reassure herself, she may seek the attention of her husband, more frequently, to, in general, asking for some hard to find delicacies.

The health of the mother during pregnancy has indeed many effects on fetal development. For example, women during pregnancy, were malnourished, did not smoke or drink, or had somehow ingested unprescribed drugs had a greater chance of delivering children with birth defects. And to put the case of the "crab child" to any of these factors is medically correct.

physical characteristics or hereditary traits are passed from parents to children with deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) the genes contain. The fundamental hereditary material in almost all organisms, DNA determines the overall composition of an individual, such as bone structure hair color, complexion, height, and even the shape of hands.

In genetics, or the science of heredity and the relationships of organisms resulting from the interaction of their genes and environment, there is a process known as 'mutation'. This abnormal process results in the alteration of genetic material transmitted to offspring. It may be spontaneous, that is the result of accidents in the replication of genetic material, or induced by external factors like temperature, X-rays, ultraviolet light and chemicals. Its results are likely congenital abnormalities, physical deformities, and other aberrations. And one or a combination of these external factors and spontaneous is the most likely reason some children are born with "crab hands" or any other unusual physical characteristic.

In 1977, in a remote province of China, Yu Chenhuan surprised his parents when he was born with long hair and silky on almost his entire body. His condition continued to mystify all as he grew into a very hairy boy. People who believe in the myth of 'paglilihí' simply dismiss Yu as a case of a child conceived [monkey 'pinaglihi unggoy know']. However, medical experts who evaluated her was discovered that Yu was suffering from a condition known as 'hypertrichosis.' hirutism Also called ',' this is a rare genetically transmitted disease X-linked dominant, characterized by excessive hairiness in both localized areas or across the skin. / © 2004 elf ideas

Foot-binding

The ancient Chinese had a strange custom known as foot binding. This practice, which persisted from the tenth to the twentieth century, causing serious permanent disability for millions of older women. According to a study by the University of California at San Francisco in the United States, a large percentage of cases of osteoporosis in China, a disorder in which compromised the structural integrity of bone can be attributed to the prevalence and consequences of foot binding. The random sample of 193 women, aged 70-80, in Beijing, fifty-foot deformity were tied.

Historians trace the practice of foot-binding back to the Sung dynasty (960-976 BC). They argue that started as an imitation of an imperial concubine who was required to dance with their feet tied. Noting that the view appeal to the Emperor and who want to earn his favor by offering their daughters as concubines, many parents began binding their daughters feet '. By the twelfth century, the practice was widespread and toughest foot-girls' were so closely related to and early in life.

In further retrospection, historians say that the foot binding persisted reason was that it provided the richest men in order to prevent their wives or concubines to leave home for girls with bound feet found the simple act of walking ability extremely painful.

Usually, parents began binding the feet of their daughters, aged three years. All fingers except the big toe (the innermost first digit of each foot) were broken, his feet were so closely bound with strips of cloth to prevent them from growing larger than ten centimeters. This caused the soles of your feet to bend in extreme concavity. The girls were then made to wear a particular type of footwear called lotus shoes, which were made of leather or, sometimes, steel and that has prevented the further growth of the bones of the foot.

The end of the leg of most vertebrates, the foot is used mainly for locomotion. In humans, its important areas during the years of a child, when a child begins to learn to walk. Therefore, it is truly regrettable that a body-as disfigure custom of foot binding continued for centuries. Fortunately, the cruel practice ceased in 1911, when the new Chinese republic finally banned. / (C) 2004 ideas elf

The essential elements of Norse mythology

Complex but interesting, Norse mythology is the religion of pre-Christian Danish, Icelandic, Norwegian and Swedish peoples. It 'was rooted mainly from old Icelandic writing known as the' Elder Edda, 'which skálds unknown wrote centuries before the Christianization of the North. This multilayered, often contradictory, and reveals a number of parallels with other myths.

Like any other mythology, Norse mythology has its own version of creation, but before we can easily understand and imagine this, you must know the geography of the world where mythological Norse existed.

* World Geography *
According to Norse mythology, the world was divided into three levels: the higher the East, and lower levels. separate land, which comes from an abyss called Ginnungagap, including every level. They were held together by a large tree, called Ygg-drasil.

The upper layer contained Asgard (The Land of the Aesir), Alfheim (The Land of the Elves) and Vanaheim (land of the Vanir). The average level consisted of Midgard (the land of humans), Jotunheim (The Land of the Giants), Svartalfaheim (The Land of Dark Elves), and Nithavellir (Land of Dwarves). The lower floor had Muspell (The Land of Fire) and Niflheim (the land of ice and dead).

* Creation of the World *
= The Land of Fire and Ice =
Initially Ginnungagap chasm separated Muspell and Niflheim. When it finally closed, fire and ice meet and combine to form a cow and the first giant named Ymir. The cow, Auðumla, survived by licking the salty ice blocks; Ymir depended on her for food. Licked by ice emerged the first human being, Bur, who has a son named Bor. Ymir, in turn, produced the first Frost Giant male and female sweat under the left armpit, the couple left the rest of the Frost Giants. Bor later married Bestla giant named Frost, who gave birth to three sons: Odin, Vili and Ve.

Odin created = World =
With the help of his brothers, Odin killed the cruel Ymir. Bloodshed that the body of the Giant consequently killed most of the frost giants. Odin created the world from the corpse of Ymir, the sea from the blood, the flesh from the earth, the sky from his skull, bones the mountains, and trees from his hair. This kingdom became known as the Midgard-half the world, the land of humans. Ymir's eyebrows served as a protective fence of Midgard. In the sea surrounding Midgard inhabited Jormunganð the snake, whose enormous length was sufficient to circumscribe the world average by putting its tail in its mouth.

Then the Dwarves Were Born = =
From rotting meat giant Ymir appeared a swarm of maggots, which, with the gods decree 'has acquired something partly human and understanding. Known as the Dwarves lived in Nithavellir deep in Earth caves, tunnels and mines.

= And so it was Ygg-drasil =
From Ymir's corpse was also born the great ash tree called Ygg-drasil, whose branches overshadowed the whole world. Ygg-drasil had three roots of each going to the world three levels. Shamanism

Shamanism is an ancient form of mysticism. Although there are many localized variations, the basic tenet is that all things are sacred and alive. Shamans are experts in this perspective and act as priests, holy people, guides, researchers, explorers or professionals. Most have the ability to enter trance or altered states of access to information relating to their work.

The shaman acts as a bridge. While in contact with life in other dimensions of the universe, but also use what is available in the local environment as an aid to return a person, place or situation in equilibrium.

The historical paths of becoming a shaman are many and varied. Before we had instant mass communication, and the race overall, a shaman would live in a small country like all our ancestors. These small tribal settings were located in different ecosystems, some tropical, some cold, mountainous, valley, desert, forest, etc. Each place had its own unique energy, with different plants and animals. You will not find a whale in the desert, so any potential shaman had very different life experiences and local resources to work with. Moreover, the mythological systems vary greatly.

Individuals were asked to become a shaman for various reasons. Some were simply born sensitive. Some people had near-death experience, mental break, illness or accident that caused them to seek a method for their personal recovery. Through trial and error they found a mineral, plant, location, ceremony or something to help care for them. Upon recovery, they have become shamans specialized for this problem. People came to them for their secret knowledge, when in a similar situation. Thus, a new born in the shaman community.

Still others had a big dream, you went on a vision quest or entered an apprenticeship with another shaman. Some became shamans because it was a family tradition, just as doctors tend to run in families. Some were forced to become shamans because of a need for community. Sometimes shamans and village elders looked at the children, looking for a distinctive sign or omen, they tried the troublemaker, the curious, the adventurer, the leader or the shy one. When they found what they felt was the right personality, often placed the child in training ... even against their will, since the needs of the tribe were considered most important.

Today, there are still traditional shamans in every culture, but there are modern shamans. There are people today who have awakened an interest in this ancient profession and are in training.

X-mas ... Pinoy Style

Even when the months of beginning to end with "-ber, Filipinos are full of waiting for that special magic of the Christmas season never fails to yield. In any other part of the world, Christmas is a December" thing " . Here in the Philippines, however, lasts all the way on the Feast of the Three Kings, sometimes on the Chinese New Year. In fact, with all the holiday hoopla, Christmas in the Philippines is far from boring.

Christmas the Filipino way would not be the same without the "people traffic" in and out of stores and tiangges as buyers clamor to get the best buys of the season. Pinoys at home in the meantime, spiffy home decor and strategically placed speakers, from which the sounds of Christmas will be heard.

You also have restless children and parents too anxious and yayas corrupt children "to be" good, otherwise Santa Claus does not come for a visit this year. Everything for that red fire trucks or Barbie doll, the kids might think, but how would you know if Jolly Ol 'St. Nick is just a scam or not? In any case, the trick is revealed to be only a good method of discipline for any other day of the year, as Christmas time.

Several traditions are uniquely Filipino. The Misa de Gallo, for example. Filipinos have been religiously attending these dawn masses, more commonly known as Simbang Gabi, when Fray Diego de Soria is widespread in Mexico in 1587. In the Philippines, Simbang Gabi novena devotees brave the dark and chilly morning in the morning to preserve the tradition. Sure, there's always the lure of fresh and bibingka Puto bumbong stiffle to prevent the yawns and heads nodding to sleep.

The assault parols, paper lanterns made from Japanese paper glued onto a frame of bamboo-shaped star, is another unique sight to behold. These configurations can be seen shimmering hanging everywhere: from window sills, bedecking a tree on the lawn or hanging from lampposts, even places on the highway. Sometimes people set parols atop one end of a long pole while the other end buried deep enough into the ground to keep it stable. The parols more modern ones of 10 feet, more urbanized, decorate the facades of office buildings and hotel lobby. Rightly, the more modest are the kind you see hanging houses. Whatever the size or shape, parols will always be part of the Filipino Christmas.

Along with the words, Belen is also a main attraction closely identified with Christmas Pinoy. The sight of the Holy Family in a manger with animals and the three kings around him, makes a certain serenity to the family --- a sense of holiness that just about anyone can use a little 'this season.

Of course, every Filipino Christmas is sure to include a buena noche. Sometimes it's a feast of jamon, queso de bola, relleno, roasted turkey, castanas, and fruitcake. Sometimes, it is normal pancit, fried chicken, hot dogs and lugaw. It 's a celebration, however, and should not matter as long as the family is together. Getting ready for the noche buena, for saving up, decoration and presentation of cases can start as early as right after the meal this year. Year-in and year out, people are putting away any amount of extra money could be hoping to add yet another table noche buena "provided" for next year.

The Filipino way of celebrating the yuletide not be the same without hope of children "hand POS" --- sometimes in churches, often in their homes and ninongs ninangs. You also have songs from yesteryears played on virtually all radio stations in the city. Of course, the same song can vary a bit ', depending on the version of the disk jockey chooses (Gary Valenciano and Regine Velasquez "Pasko na Sinta Ko"), but listeners do not usually mind until the songs add to their Christmas merry-making.

Of course, what would be Christmas without the usual caroling and Christmas songs? In the suburbs, children as young as six years are taught Christmas carols, accompanied by the tinkling of flattened bottle caps tied together through the middle by a thin thread. They are then encouraged to go around the neighborhood and sing along the streets to spread some Christmas cheer for motorists tired.

As Filipinos are generally musically inclined, there are many people who would not dare pass up a new album, especially if it is a Pinoy Christmas album. A refreshing change for original Pilipino music on the airwaves instead of listening to "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas," many Filipino artists now have their records Christmas music in various bars.

An album so that is definitely OPM Bukas Palad Music Ministry is "Pasko Na!", Which is distributed by BMG Pilipinas. Consisting of 18 original songs, largely written by P. founders. Manoling Fransisco, SJ, Jandi Arboleda and Norman Agatep, "Pasko Na!" Filipino and lives in a single season Christocentric.

For those unfamiliar with Bukas Palad, is a liturgical group consisting of university students and young professionals who first met in Ateneo de Manila University in 1986. It was they who gave strong mass appeal for the songs of the Catholic faith as "Tanging Yaman", "Take and receive," "Anima Christi" and "Hindi Kita Malilimutan. After eight albums and more than 13 years of concerts around the nation, Bukas Palad provide the public with their latest album which is flavored with its own style of the group, a mix of pop, jazz, soul, gospel and Broadway music inspiration.

"Pasko Na!" is filled with energy and soul of becoming modern, but traditional Filipino Christmas. The album guarantees that people are still able to make a Christmas that is liberating and joyful, despite whatever problems may have tired a year away. These themes are reflected in songs like "Himig ng Hangin" and "Pasko ng Paglaya" by Jandi Arboleda and Fr. Manoling, respectively. A must for the Christmas season this year, "Pasko Na!" is now available in all record bars nationwide.

The Filipinos do not really have to be more fluid with wealth to enjoy Christmas. expensive decorations and a feast fit for a king at the table buena noche are things that most Filipinos can do without. Afterall, while there's family to celebrate the season with that tradition and make it more meaningful, the Filipino Christmas is always special, meaningful and affectionate one.
